Bands Selected for Battle of the Bands
Students on Target select Five Bands to Perform

(Baton Rouge, LA) - Five bands were selected to compete for Students on Target's annual Battle of the Bands. The bands performing will be He Bleeds Fireman, Leaving Brightside, MeloMania, Prom Date and The Kids in Sandbox.

Each band will have 20 minutes to perform. Students with a valid LSU ID will be able to vote for their favorite band. The winner will open for the 2010 Groovin' on the Grounds concert in the spring.

Battle of the Bands will be held on Oct. 31, 2009 at the Greek Amphitheater from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Students on Target seeks to promote "a good time not wasted."
